Join JNOLA and Temple Sinai for a morning of “Bible, Brunch, and Booze” on Saturday, January 27 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Meet us at the lovely home of Tracey & Michael Dodd for a laid back gathering with the 20s/30s Jewish community to discuss this week’s Torah portion, Beshalach, that centers around the Exodus. Through the lens of why it’s relevant today, we’ll have an informal talk lead by Rabbi Matthew Reimer on how this book is about what it is to be a stranger in a familiar land.

Whether you’re a Sinai member, have never been there, are affiliated with a different synagogue, or are unaffiliated, this free brunch is open to the entire JNOLA community! Food and drinks will be provided. All you have to do is RSVP as space is limited.
