Need weekend plans? This month, Temple Sinai is joining several other congregations for the New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity Interfaith Unity Build, a four-week project to build a home for NOLA native Nicole Pujol and her two children.

Volunteers can sign up for construction or non-construction tasks, and can work on whatever day(s) best suits their schedules. Each workday will run from 8:00 a.m. to about 4:00 p.m. Registration and check-in volunteers are needed from 7:15 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., and lunch providers, if not already on-site, are asked to come and distribute lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Construction and morning prayer volunteers should arrive at 8:00 a.m. See the schedule and tasks below:

Volunteers must be age 16 or older, and bring a signed waiver to the worksite (6500 Dorian Street). Closed-toe and closed-heel shoes are required.
