Summer 2018 at Temple Sinai started off with a bang! First we had our Religious School closing assembly, where students received awards and parents, students, and staff celebrated another year of fun and learning. On May 19, our Confirmation students wowed with their graduation speeches. Then, at May 25 Shabbat services, award-winning chef Alon Shaya talked about and signed copies of his new book, Shaya: An Odyssey of Food, My Journey Back to Israel. Brotherhood’s annual Seafood Bingo rounded out Memorial Day weekend. Most recently, we hosted The Band at the summer’s first inter-congregational Shabbat service, where retiring Religious School teacher Sue Frank was honored for 18 years of service.
