DESCRIPTION:On the Saturday evening before Rosh HaShanah\, please join Temp
 le Sinai and Touro Synagoge for a very special service to help us prepare 
 for the upcoming High Holy Days at 8:00pm at Touro Synagogue. The service 
 is called “Selichot\,” named for our prayers for forgiveness that we b
 egin to offer at this time. The Selichot Service is a “Meditative Beginn
 ing to the Season” and introduces us to the themes and music of our Yami
 m Nora’im (Days of Awe).\nThis year\, we will partner with Touro Synagog
 ue for a wonderful community start to the High Holy Day Season. We will be
 gin with a Dessert Reception and Havdalah\, followed by a meditative servi
 ce led by the clergy of both congregations in a darkened sanctuary\, concl
 uding with the sound of the Shofar. We hope you will you will join us for 
 this special Selichot service.
