Welcome to Temple Sinai

New Orleans’ First Reform Congregation – Founded in 1870

sanctuary-exterior350pxFounded in 1870, Temple Sinai is the oldest Reform congregation in Louisiana, and the state’s largest Jewish congregation overall. Our clergy and lay leaders strive to create a congregation that serves as a spiritual presence in the lives of its members in order to help cultivate and satisfy their religious, musical, cultural, emotional, and intellectual interests and needs.
