Daniel Sherman
Rabbi
Rabbi Daniel Sherman was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma and is a lifelong product of the Reform Movement. Rabbi Sherman was ordained at the Hebrew Union College–Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1999. He most recently served as Senior Rabbi at Temple Dor Dorim in Weston, Florida.

Joel Colman
Cantor
Cantor Joel Colman has served as the cantor at Temple Sinai since 1999. Previously, he served as the cantor at Temple B’rith Kodesh in Rochester, New York, and as the cantor/educator at Greenwich Reform Synagogue in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Edward Paul Cohn, D.MIN., D.D.
Rabbi Emeritus
Rabbi Cohn received his B.A. with honors from the University of Cincinnati in 1970, his Master of Hebrew Letters degree from Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion in 1974, and his Doctor of Ministry degree from the Saint Paul School of Theology in 1984.

Liz Yager
Executive Director
A native of Quebec City, Liz spent most of her childhood years in Montreal, Canada. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario in 1985 and then moved to New Orleans in 1987 from Toronto.

Avital Kadosh
Director of Education
Avital Kadosh is a tenured and enthusiastic Jewish educator whom we proudly to welcomed to Temple Sinai in the fall of 2018. She most recently served as the Director of Education at Congregation B’nai Amoona in St. Louis. She graduated from University of Michigan School of Social Work with a joint masters degree in Social Work and Jewish Communal Leadership in 2014.
