Chavurah@Sinai Religious School
At Temple Sinai, our Religious School provides a warm, welcoming environment where children ages 4 through their teen years can explore and grow in their Jewish identity – spiritually, culturally, and intellectually. Our curriculum centers on Jewish values, tradition, spiritual connection, culture, and community – preparing students for meaningful Jewish lives and Confirmation.
Religious School meets Sundays from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by Hebrew School from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on most Sundays. On select Sundays, our special “lagniappe” programming extends the morning with engaging holiday celebrations, family Shabbat experiences, guest educators, and hands-on enrichment activities – creating even more opportunities for connection and fun.
Parents are invited to join Parent Connection every Sunday from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, a relaxed gathering to connect with other families over bagels.
Our school is more than classes – it’s a place where children build friendships, bond with other Jewish families, and participate in special monthly events that bring our community closer together.
Big News: Tuition-Free Religious School for 2025-2026!
Thanks to a generous grant from the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, tuition will be completely covered for all students enrolled in the 2025-2026 school year! This gift removes financial barriers and opens our doors even wider to families who want their children to connect deeply to Jewish community, values, and tradition.
While tuition is covered, we warmly welcome donations to support the full range of family education programs and special events that make our school vibrant and unique.
Membership at Temple Sinai is required to participate, but we are committed to keeping it accessible and flexible to meet the needs of every family.
